Rock Choir in tune to raise the roof at The Bridge Church on Evesham Road, Redditch

Redditch Editorial 1st Apr, 2016 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016

REDDITCH Rock Choir bring their uplifting and brilliant brand of music to The Bridge Church on Evesham Road next Saturday, April 9.

The local branch of the UK’s largest and most popular contemporary choir has been going since September 2012 and during that time they’ve raised bucketloads of money for a variety of charities and appeared at Wembley Stadium and Symphony Hall.

Rock Choir’s uplifting ethos of fun, friendship and community spirit is a huge part of its attraction. At an individual level, it helps improve people’s self-confidence, enables them to develop new singing skills, and enjoy a dynamic new social life.

Singing together and achieving such a great sound gives members a huge sense of fulfilment. Added to this is the glamour and excitement of performing in public, which for many is a truly liberating experience.

Local Rock Choir leader Christa Hugo runs fun, weekly rehearsals at Studley Sports Centre, Abbeyfields Drive B80 7BF on Wednesday evenings from 8pm-9.30pm.

For more info visit or call 01252714276.

Tickets for the concert at The Bridge cost £8, or £6 for under-16s, and include a glass of wine or juice. Tickets are available by calling 01527 65845.

A limited number will be available on the door. Doors open at 7pm, and there will aso be a raffle on the night.
