A STUNNING 70s stage show will be coming to Bromsgrove’a Artrix next Saturday (September 12).

The Supersonic 70s are a six-piece 100 per cent live band with both male and female singers, including the ‘cat-suited wondergirl Janey Bombshell and ‘velvet voiced Mark Keen.

Also in the line-up is guitarist and vocalist Greg Hart who has played and written music for Asia, Mike Oldfield and Danni Summer, former Ultravox and Danni Minogue bassist Gary Williams and Andy Stewart, the group’s musical director and keyboardist/Vocoder.

Last, but not least is Andy Fox, a drummer who has played with Thin Lizzy’s Brian Robertson.

Since 2011 the show has toured constantly throughout the UK, and they have whipped up a ‘1970s sea of nostalgia’ to ecstatic fans wherever they play.

Women sing along to every word and men play air guitar at will during the massive 1970s party.

The Supersonic 70s promises to take its audiences down memory lane with some of the biggest classic hits from the 70s, including songs from Queen, John Miles, The Carpenters, ELO, 10cc.

And there are even more pop offerings when the Supersonic 70s belt out music from David Essex, Abba, Sweet, Suzi Quatro, Boney M, The Osmonds, David Cassidy, Elton John, Kiki Dee, T.Rex, Olivia Newton John and the Bay City Rollers.

Tickets for the gig, which starts at 8pm, are £18.50 and are available by visiting www.artrix.co.uk or by calling 01527 577330.
