BLUES music will be making its way into Alcester on Sunday, March 11 when Jack Blackman’s Tuery Sessions come to town, writes Daniel Cooke.
The event is taking place at the Cross Keys and will feature the best in traditional stompin’ blues and slide guitar.
All of this is mixed in alongside a good dose of northern humour for good measure.
Renowned singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player Pistol Pete Wearn will be there.
He was described by RnR Magazine as ‘a talent to watch’.
Chris Martin is also performing with a mixture of slide, fingerstyle and lap guitar to delight the crowds.
The event will start at 6pm and admission is free. A raffle will also take place.
Information can be found at www.jackblackman.com as well as on the event’s Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
