GARDENING equipment including a petrol strimmer and mower were stolen from a Hopwood sports club.

Offenders forced the door of an outbuilding at the Five Ways Old Edwardians RFC grounds, on Ash Lane, between 4pm on Tuesday (August 18) and 6.30am on Wednesday (August 19).

A compressor, petrol strimmer and mower were all stolen.

On the same night, a storage unit was also targeted on Lea End Lane where offenders removed CCTV equipment and broke the locks of three shipping containers but nothing was taken.

Anyone with any information about the incidents should contact PC Chris Burns at Redditch Police Station on 101.
