A REDDITCH scout group has set out to help those in need after the Turkey and Syria earthquake.
The 11th Redditch Rowan Beaver Scouts collected and donated items which were in desperate need, adding to donations that had already been received from various people throughout the community.
Beaver Scout leader, Lesley Spencer organised the donations to be dispatched to a group that was organising transport to Turkey for those in need.
The donations were largely for babies and children.
Lesley said: “The news about the earthquake was devastating but we’re so proud of the children and the amount they have donated.”
