INKBERROW Bowls Club held an end-of-season awards night with Worcester’s Barbourne top of the Interberga League table.

Barbourne topped the standings at the end of the campaign with Droitwich Spa White second and Hewell Bowling Club Green in third.

As part of the presentation evening, a triples competition took place with all nine clubs involved as Studley Entaco came out on top.

Inkberrow President Alan Slater paid tribute to all those taking part and thanked Inkberrow’s green team for outstanding improvements in the quality of the green this season.

The Interberga League began in 2002 after a group of enthusiasts from Inkberrow Bowls Club started the league.

The league’s title comes from the historic name for the village.
