CHRIS Churchill landed two trophies in one day as Inkberrow Bowls Club held its finals weekend.
On Saturday morning he took the President’s Cup by beating Kevin Bates 21-17 in the mixed singles final.
Then in the afternoon he joined forces with Yvonne Spencer and Paul Cotton to take the mixed triples trophy with a decisive 17-9 victory over Rosemary Drake, Alan Bishop and John Bird.
Earlier Bishop had become men’s champion for a fourth time with a hard-fought 21-17 win over John Bradley in the men’s singles.
Women’s champion for the first time is Lou Reeves who was ahead when her opponent Iris Smith had to retire through injury from their singles final.
The mixed pairs title went to Bradley and Ali Bates who beat Drake and Kevin Bates 20-15.
