BOTH Redditch United and Alvechurch will play in the Southern League Premier Central again next season after the FA released the National League System (NLS) club allocations for steps one to six.

The Reds lost to Leamington in the play-off semi-finals after enjoying a stellar season while Alvechurch finished 16th in the Southern League Premier Central just six points above the relegation zone.

And both clubs remain in the division next season while five teams achieved promotion into the league with Bedford Town, Biggleswade Town, Harborough Town, Lowestoft Town and Spalding United all making the step up from the tier below.

Both Banbury United and Bishop’s Stortford drop into the Southern League Premier Central after suffering relegation last season.

The other teams in the Southern League Premier Central next season are: AFC Sudbury, AFC Telford United, Barwell, Bromsgrove Sporting, Coalville Town, Halesowen Town, Kettering Town, Leiston, Royston Town, St Ives Town, Stamford, Stourbridge and Stratford Town.

All leagues are subject to FA Council ratification.
