BOTH Redditch United and Alvechurch will play in the Southern League Premier Central again next season after the FA released the National League System (NLS) club allocations for steps two to six.

Church finished 13th in the Southern League Premier Central last season after Tim Flowers left the Reds in November to guide Alvechurch to safety.

United finished just one place above the relegation zone and only secured survival on the final day of the season.

Redditch have since replaced former boss Matt Clarke with Mike Fowler for the 2025/26 campaign.

Both clubs remain in the division next season and can look forward to another local derby against promoted side Worcester City.

Worcester, Bury Town, Quorn and Real Bedford all achieved promotion into the division.

And despite suffering relegation last term, Barwell have received a reprieve to remain at Step Three.

Needham Market have dropped into the division following their relegation from the National League North.

The other teams in the Southern League Premier Central next season are: AFC Sudbury, Banbury United, Bishop’s Stortford, Bromsgrove Sporting, Halesowen Town, Harborough Town, Kettering Town, Leiston, Royston Town, Spalding United, St Ives Town, Stamford, Stourbridge and Stratford Town.

All leagues are subject to FA Council ratification.
