THE COUNTDOWN to next season has already begun for Hewell Bowling Club’s A team after narrowly coming up short in their bid for Spencer Cup glory.
Hewell A faced the Vines Park A side from Droitwich in the Spencer Cup final and, although Hewell lost by eight shots, they were firmly in contention until a downpour broke the momentum of the match and Vines Park came out after the interruption to secure victory.
All bodes well for Hewell’s prospects next season and members are looking forward to it with optimism.
