CARL DICKENS has been boosted ahead of his rearranged middleweight clash against Polish fighter Robert Studzinski by securing a new sponsor.

‘The Wallop’ has teamed up with Neil Hateley of the renowned Emporium gym to boost his pad work.

Hateley, known as H Bomb Pad Man, runs the pad work and boxing side of training at the Birmingham gym and 32-year-old Dickens is delighted to have linked up with Hateley.

Redditch’s Dickens, whose rescheduled bout will take place at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre in Solihull on Saturday, September 24, said: “Working with Neil and also H Bomb Junior has been brilliant for me.

“They are hugely respected by boxers around the Midlands and it’s great to have them on my side.

“Having the fight put back a couple of weeks has just given me even more time to get into top shape, so it’s not a problem.”

Dickens, for whom victory could set up another tilt at the British Challenge Belt, still has tickets available for the fight and they can be obtained by calling 07411 936522.

Dickens would like to thank his fans for their support and also sponsors Passion VIP, IDM Electrical, Third Party Solutions, Frielco Driving School, S Moss Building & Roofing and KJF Training Ltd.

Anyone interesting in training with Hateley can contact him on 07760 915187.
