Plenty to savour at Club Championships

Redditch Editorial 18th Sep, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

WORCESTERSHIRE Gymnastics Academy held their annual Club Championships recently – an event which attracted girls from all over the West Midlands to compete.

The competition was open to all the gymnasts at Worcester Gymnastics Club and, with so many competing, the competition had to be divided into five rounds so every child was able to attend their own Club Championships.

There were several outstanding routines from the pre-schoolers to recreational to competition squad, through to the club’s Elite programme gymnasts, which had the parents cheering all the competitors on.

All the gymnasts that train at the gym travel from all around the West Midlands and regularly compete at club level through to British open gymnast competitions.

The girls pictured are from the competition squad with all their cups and trophies.

For further information on gymnastics training in the Midlands contact the club through the club website, Facebook or Twitter at Worcestershire Gymnastics Academy.
