REDDITCH Taekwondo Club members won eight medals at the LTSI English Open Championships after an impressive showing in London.
The three-strong team of students Kai Evans and Immy Heaps, along with head instructor Amy Ridgard, showcased their skills in the capital as Ridgard and Evans won silver in the synchronised pattern event.
Junior member Evans also took bronze in sparring and scored well in patterns just missing out on a place on the podium in a large field of competitors.
Adult member Heaps won silver in both patterns and sparring in a magnificent showing at her first-ever competition.
Head instructor Ridgard claimed silver in patterns and sparring before winning gold in special technique.
