SENSEI Dave Treadwell and students Sydney Quarterman and Josh Thorp enjoyed great success for Furi Sutairu Shotokan Dojos in Peterborough.
The trio won honours in various categories including individual, team and weapon events as they secured four gold medals and a bronze in the first event of the year at this venue.
Sensei Treadwell said: “After 34 years of competing and training in Shotokan karate, there is no better feeling than competing next to your students and seeing them do so well at such a great event.
“All the hard work these students put in week in, week out and all of their extra training was clear to see.”
