GYMNASTS from across the county were keen to impress when Worcestershire Gymnastics Academy held their annual club competition.
The event featured the club’s gymnasts from recreational level through to club grades girls and top squad boys competing at the National finals at the Gymnastics and Martial Arts Centre in Birmingham.
It was a long competition over four rounds as 118 gymnasts competed, with lots of medals and trophies up for grabs.
A club spokesman said: “The competition was a great time for all the gymnasts to show their parents what they are capable of doing on all four women’s pieces and all six men’s pieces, just as our British gymnastic stars compete on.
“It was a great day for all the gymnasts to compete at this fully-equipped gym with fast track and full pits.”
