ALCESTER’S Florence Elsworth claimed a rosette for Worcestershire Gymnastics Academy at the Regional Novice Championships.
WGA sent 26 gymnasts, far more than last year, to compete in the regional event in Cannock to compete on all four pieces and for many, this was their first-ever tournament.
Isobel Ashley won overall gold in the intermediate section while Elsworth, Rosa Parsons and Mia Phililips won rosettes for ending in the top five places in the 10-12 beginner level which featured 70 gymnasts.
