ALVECHURCH striker Jordan Nadat has departed Lye Meadow to join Midland League Premier Division rivals Coleshill Town.
The move was confirmed on Thursday, a day after Ian Long’s side exited the Birmingham Senior Cup at the first round stage as they were beaten 3-1 by a strong Coventry City side.
Corey Addai gave City a ninth-minute lead before Jordan Shipley’s brace in the 18th and 50th minutes put the Sky Blues in command.
Alvechurch stuck to their task well and deservedly pulled a goal back through Jamie Spencer in the 58th minute but the visitors booked their place in the last 16.
On Saturday Alvechurch recorded their first ever victory at Farley Way Stadium as they thumped bogey side Quorn 5-0.
It was the Lye Meadow side’s first victory over the Leicestershire side in 15 attempts at this level and was never in doubt once Josh March had opened the scoring from the spot following the sending-off of Quorn’s Joe Hopewell.
Dave Bellis, skipper Mark Smith, Ryan Winwood and Mike Wardle then completed the rout.
Third placed Alvechurch visit Coventry Sphinx on Saturday before hosting Continental Star in the JW Hunt Cup on Tuesday.
