BOB Baber took first place in the final Throckmorton AC open match of 2018 on Sunday.
The competition on the river Arrow at Coughton attracted 20 anglers, with Baber the victor with 16lb 3oz.
Royston Pratt was second with 15lbs, and Phil O’Donnell third with 13lb 14oz.
The section winners were Glyn Blewett (12lb 6oz) and Mick Keen (6lb 4oz).
Rory Burke had taken victory in Throckmorton AC’s Christmas Open.
Burke was first with 31lb, ahead of second-placed Alan Stevens (24 lbs)third-placed Bob Baber (18lbs), and fourth-placed Nick Cowling (15lbs 12ozs).
The section winners were Terry Jelfs (15lb 10oz), Adam Jelfs (13lb 12oz), Glyn Blewett (13lb 8oz) and Paul Murray (8lb 10oz).
