CBH FASTENERS defeated SSS Lions 3-1 on Sunday to leapfrog their hosts at the top of the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination.

Chris Parish, Nathan Simpson and Nathan Davies scored for CBH and Hicks was on the mark for Lions.

Terry Nolan struck twice and Pete Murphy and Corey Chambers were also on the mark as Lodge Park RA netted their first league win of the season with a 4-0 success against Redditch United Cross.

There was also a first win of the campaign for Beoley Village whose 3-2 victory over Studley Lions moved them up a place to eighth. James Pugh, Ben Stone and George Badga scored for Beoley and Marc Jovanovic struck twice for Studley.

Charlie Beecham scored a hat-trick for South Redditch but it could not save his side from a 4-3 defeat to Astwood, for whom Matt Armond (2), Tom Williams and Ben Baker found the net.
