GOOD weights were recorded in Saturday’s Dark Lane AC match on the River Arrow at Alcester which was won by Max Claridge with 27lb 12oz.
Runner-up was Paul Caswell with 21lb 6oz, third was Pete Lewis with 12lb 10oz and section winners were Dave Gibbs (11lb 3oz) and Mick Keen (10lb 2oz).
THE NEXT day upstream at Coughton, the Throckmorton AC match was won by in-form Jack Dean with 10lb 4oz.
Second was Alan Stephens with 10lb 1oz and joint third were Neil Rutter and Shawn Street, both with 8lb 12oz.
Section winners were Andy Peters (8lb 5oz) and Simon Howl (5lb 9oz).
THE THROCKMORTON AC Thursday three-hour evening match on the River Arrow at Coughton was won by Tom Moulson with 17lb.
Second was Colin Caswell with 11lb, third was Jack Dean with 9lb 12oz and section winners were Bob Dean (9lb 3oz) and Paul Caswell (8lb 6oz).
THE REDDITCH Town AC Open on the River Avon in Binton was won by Dan Adams with 5lb 8oz of skimmers and perch fishing chopped worm on the pole.
Alan Bradshaw finished second with 3lb 8oz bagging bleak on the maggot and third was experienced Tony Bradshaw with 3lb 1oz.
The next club open is on August 12.
