Cookhill's young Roosters welcoming new faces

Redditch Editorial 20th Jan, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

COOKHILL Cricket Club’s junior section, the Roosters, are gearing up for the 2015 season with the start of indoor training sessions at Studley Leisure Centre every Wednesday from January 28.

After a successful inaugural season in 2014 for their junior section, they are looking to build on that success as they take part in competitive league cricket across various age groups for the first time this coming season, as well as playing further friendly fixtures.

The club would therefore welcome any new recruits aged between six and 12 to join the Roosters, no matter their experience of cricket.

Cookhill aim to provide active participation and a positive experience of cricket for all their members so, if you already enjoy cricket or just want to give it a go, Cookhill is a great choice for you.

Please contact head coach Billy Harris on 07751 580069 if you want further information or come along and join in the sessions which take place at 5.30pm.
