STUDLEY SWAN secured a 3-1 victory over SO Goose Greenlands to win the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination’s Steven Troth Cup.
Also in action last Thursday evening were SCC Redolence who defeated Redditch Town 5-1 in Division One through goals from Ash Holdstock, Simon Birkin, Ryan Sproston, Andy Seager and Matthew Wood. Kieran Clarke scored for Town.
On Sunday, CBH Fasteners beat Beoley Village 3-0 in the Premier Division as Nathan Davies, Derek Harkin and Alastair Nash netted, whilst Austin Ex-Apprentices defeated Golden Cross 5-1 thanks to another hat-trick from Andy Nicol and goals from Jamie Partridge and Ben Judd. Dan Jakeman was on the mark for Cross.
In Division One, AFC Lions moved within a point of top spot with one game to go by beating Redditch Town 3-0 through goals from Sterling, Williams and Pearson.
SCC Redolence were in the goals once again as they claimed a thrilling 6-4 victory over Redditch Cross thanks largely to five goals from Ryan Sproston. Simon Birkin also struck for SCC and Luke Taylor-Jones (2), Jake Bilson and Joe Reeves did likewise for Cross.
Studley Swan defeated Shakespeare Studley 7-3 in Division Two as Sam Bennett bagged a hat-trick. Hughes (2), Aklaq and Styles were also scorers for Swan, whilst Kelleher (2) and Brough registered for Shakespeare.
