Davies at the double as leaders maintain their momentum

NATHAN DAVIES scored twice as Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination leaders CBH Fasteners cemented top spot with a 4-2 victory over Beoley Village.

Oliver Davies and Ben Thomas also netted for the hosts and James Pugh and Brett Tuohy were the scorers for Beoley.

Ben Ellicott bagged a hat-trick as SSS Lions cruised to a 7-0 victory over South Redditch, with Shaun Hunter, Nick Briggs, Brendan Hicks and Liam Phelan also on target.

Studley Lions led Redditch United Cross 3-1 when the match was abandoned in the 79th minute following a nasty head injury to Christian Smith who was taken to hospital.




Thankfully Smith, who suffered concussion, is back home. Scorers for Lions were Laan David, Billy O’Mahoney and Richard Tyler, with Kyle Perkins on target for the hosts.

Sam Barber, James Wright, Matt Armond, Craig Jenkins and George Parsons were all on target in Astwood’s 5-0 victory over SCC Redolence, whilst Mal Williams (2) and Nick Turner were the scorers as VKL United defeated Norton Athletic, for whom George Goodwin netted, 3-1.
