Dynamo book their place in BSA Cup final

REDDITCH & South Warwickshire Combination Premier Division leaders OKH Sporting Dynamo booked their place in another cup final as they defeated Rubery Bridge 3-1 in the BSA Cup semi-finals.

In a match played in windy conditions on a heavy pitch, OKH took a first half lead when Sam Wills converted following a corner.

Rubery enjoyed the majority of possession and pressure in the second half and had a golden chance to equalise, only to miss a penalty.

They were soon punished when Reece Hewitt doubled the OKH lead, but Rubery continued to press and Adam Pearshouse reduced their arrears.

However, Hewitt struck again in the final minute to ensure OKH’s place in the final.

There was disappointment for Black Horse as they exited the Sunday National Cup with a 1-0 defeat at Richmond upon Thames outfit Barnes in round five.

Congratulations to Premier Division title-chasers Black Horse for progressing this far.

In the Premier Division, Lodge Park won their first game in the league as they prevailed 5-4 at Millfield Rovers thanks largely to a hat-trick from Terry Nolan.

Austin Ex-Apprentices won 5-1 at South Redditch as Stuart Butcher netted a hat-trick and Andy Nicol bagged a brace.

Two games were played in Division One as New Woodland Cottage won 2-0 at Beoley Village and Coldstream were 6-3 home winners against Redditch Town.

There were two hat-tricks for Coldstream as Jake Booton and Adam Doupe both fired trebles, whilst Chris Adams scored two of Redditch Town’s goals.
