ENGLAND Women’s cricketer Tammy Beaumont was a welcome guest at Ridgeway Middle School on Tuesday when she paid a visit to deliver some coaching sessions.
The 23-year-old, who keeps wicket for England and does so regularly for Kent Women for whom she also opens the batting, also took part in a question and answer session and signed autographs for pupils.
Ridgeway Middle’s Tom Clarkson said: “The idea behind Tammy’s visit is that we are trying to push and drive forward girls cricket to build on the success that we have had in girls cricket over the last few years.”
