LOCKDOWN may have brought a temporary halt to Redditch United’s promising season, but planning for exciting events at the Trico Stadium is continuing at great pace.
An under 16s Christmas festival two-day tournament is being organised to take place at the home of the Reds on December 29 and 30.
A Reds spokesman said: “This is a great opportunity for those involved to play on our first team 3G pitch and get some much-needed minutes in the tank after a month off during lockdown.”
There is a 9.30am registration on day one and 10am kick-off for the first match in the 11-a-side competition.
Matches are 20 minutes and the cost is £10 per team, with entry payable on the day. All teams will play a minimum of four matches regardless of results.
