STUDLEY responded to a narrow defeat away at Stourport with a much-needed home victory against AFC Wulfrunians.
The Bees were beaten 2-1 away at Stourport before securing an impressive 2-0 win against AFC Wulfrunians to end a three-match losing run.
And the results leave Studley in 12th place in the Midland Football League Premier Division table.
Stourport took an early lead through Lee Chilton before doubling their advantage shortly after half time.
The Bees responded when Ashanti Pryce scored a fine goal to halve the deficit but were unable to find an equaliser in another slender defeat.
And Pryce was on target again in Studley’s clash with Wulfrunians as he opened the scoring on 31 minutes with another fine finish to hand the Bees a half-time lead.
The game became a cagey affair in the second half as Pryce made sure of the points when he netted at the back post following a fine run and cross from Sam Jackson.
Studley are next in action at home against Stapenhill on Saturday, September 24 in the FA Vase with kick-off at 3pm at The Beehive.
