STUDLEY suffered mixed fortunes on the pitch after a fine victory at previous unbeaten AFC Wulfrunians was soured by back-to-back defeats against Bewdley Town and Shifnal Town.
The Bees won a tight game against Wulfrunians thanks to Jake Donnelley’s wonderful goal from 20-yards out as Studley battled to a 1-0 victory.
However, Studley failed to back up the result or performance at Bewdley in a disappointing display as the Bees slipped to a last-minute 2-1 defeat despite Ashanti Pryce scoring his first goal for the club.
And Studley then fell to a 2-1 defeat against Shifnal at the Beehive after going two goals behind before Dan Carter pulled a goal back following a fine move with Jack Creswell at a free-kick but were unable to find an equaliser.
The results leave the Bees in 10th place in the Midland Premier League table with two wins and three defeats from their five matches.
Studley are next in action away at Lichfield City on Saturday, September 10 with kick-off at 3pm at the Trade Tyre Stadium.
