DAVE GIBBS was victorious in Dark Lane AC’s Saturday match on the River Arrow at Alcester.
Gibbs’ net of 8lb 13oz included a fine Barbel weighing 8lb 1oz as he topped a 14-strong field.
Second was Mick Keen with 7lb 15oz, third Barry Feldhahn with 5lb 9oz, fourth Glyn Blewett with 5lb 7oz, fifth Barry Blewett with 4lb 15oz and sixth Keith Jones with 4lb 14oz.
PETE ELMS won Sunday’s Needles AC match on the River Alne at Great Alne where 16 anglers were in action.
Elms landed 4lb 5oz to finish above runner-up John Mutchell’s 2lb 13oz and third-placed Chris Cole’s 2lb 12oz.
Section winners were Barry Blewett (2lb 11oz), Bob Dean (2lb 8oz) and Jack Dean (2lb).
