Goals aplenty as Combination gets back into full swing

THE REDDITCH & South Warwickshire Combination was finally able to enjoy a full programme of fixtures on Sunday.

In Division One, South Redditch beat visitors Norton Athletic 4-0 to move from fourth to second in the table, four points behind leaders CBH Fasteners. Tom Fishwick and Tobias Teague both netted twice.

Studley Swan beat visitors Beoley Village 4-3 thanks largely to a hat-trick from Chris Hancock, whilst Sean Bowden also scored for Swan. Meek (2) and Dale were on the mark for Beoley.

In Division Two, hosts Broughsons beat VKL United 6-1 to move top of the pile as both Dave White and Josh Carter bagged braces and Aaron Brough and Matt Wilkes also scored. Albe Vernon struck for VKL.




Luke Bryan netted twice for SCC Redolence in their 4-3 victory over visitors Astwood. Paul Jeynes and Neil Seager were also on the scoresheet for SCC, as were Harry West, Tom Williams and Sam Bodiodi for Astwood.

Lodge Park secured a place in the semi-final of the BRT Terry Cup by seeing off hosts Redditch United Cross 2-0 through goals from Josiah Walker and Lee Aldridge. They will face either SO Goose or Redditch Town in the last four on a date to be confirmed.


CBH Fasteners exited the Bromsgrove Charity Junior Cup as they lost 4-1 at Hawthorns.
