ST AUGUSTINE’S Catholic High School pupil Grace Godwin will be pulling on her Wales shirt once again when she competes in the UEFA U17s European Championship qualifiers.
The year 11 pupil, who plays at age group level for Aston Villa Ladies, is part of the 20-player Welsh squad which will face the Republic of Ireland, Albania and hosts Serbia between October 22-28.
Some members of the squad have trained with the Welsh first team over the last year and boss Jayne Ludlow hopes the experience will benefit them in Serbia.
The 11 group winners and runners-up from the qualifying round will progress to the elite round and will also be joined by the four best third-placed teams.
