REDDITCH Rugby Football Club’s junior section are aiming to build on the enthusiasm generated by next year’s Rugby World Cup as they start their training sessions for the coming season this Sunday.

With teams for youngsters aged six to 18, plus three senior men’s teams and a ladies’ team, Redditch is a thriving community club, promoting teamwork, healthy living and fair play.

Training and games take place on Sunday mornings between September and April and some teams also have training on a Tuesday evening.

There is a team of dedicated coaches, led by first XV player Dan Buckley, and these are supported by enthusiastic and helpful parents.

Christmas parties, end of season awards and other events happen throughout the season and are a fun way for parents and players to celebrate their involvement with the club.

If your child is interested in playing rugby or you would like to find out more information regarding the game, you are welcome to attend the first official training session on Sunday, September 7.

The club is based on Bromsgrove Road, Batchley, and training/registration starts at 10am. Alternatively, contact Dan Buckley on 07828 608499.
