JOHN MILLWARD claimed victory in Sunday’s Riverside AC meeting at Broom on the River Arrow with 5lb 8oz of perch and dace taken on the stick float using maggots.
Runner-up Dan Adams also fished the stick, bagging dace for 3lb 1oz, while Rory took third place with 2lb 8oz of dace.
RAY NOSWORTHY took top spot in the Jubilee AC open on their pool at Bishampton on Saturday when 18 anglers took part.
His catch of 48lb 3oz was followed by second placed Glyn Blewett (37lb), third placed T Hemming (34lb 8oz) and fourth placed Chris Taylor (28lb 1oz).
Section winners were Ian Pitman (24lb), P Dutton (22lb 3oz) and John Cox (12lb 9oz).
BARRY BLEWETT was victorious with 5lb in Sunday’s Needles AC match on the River Alne at Great Alne where 17 anglers competed.
Second was Phil O’Donnell with 4lb 9oz, third was Bob Brazil with 4lb 8oz and section winners were Andy Farmer (4lb), John Mutchell (2lb 14oz) and Barry Feldhahn (1lb 7oz).
