THERE were 21 goals scored across three games in Division One of the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination League at the weekend.
In an 11-goal thriller, South Redditch edged past Lodge Park 6-5 to move from seventh to fourth in the table.
Paddy Carr, Tom Fishwick and Connor Poole all bagged braces in the victory.
Robbie Davies (2), Leon Kandekere, Peter Murphy and Lee Aldridge netted for Lodge.
Beoley Village beat Norton Athletic 3-2 while league leaders CBH Fasteners cruised to a 5-0 win over basement boys Studley Swan with the help of a hat-trick from Dan Jakeman.
In Division Two, Charlie Brough and namesake Carter Brough were on the scoresheet in Broughsons’ 2-0 victory over Redditch Town while Redditch Cross United scraped past SO Goose 1-0.
Joshua Wilkinson-Teece with the only goal of the game.
A hat-trick from Lewis Billingham fired SCC Redolence to a 5-3 success at Astwood in the quarter-finals of the Steven Troth Cup.
Neil Seager and Ryan Bromhead were also on target for Redolence.
Elsewhere, due to VBL Sports resigning from the Worcester & District League, Thomas Brothers Lions were given a home walkover in the first round of the Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup.
SCC Redolence beat Astwood 5-3 in the Steven Troth Cup Quarter Final with a hat trick from Lewis Billingham. They will face Redditch United Cross in the Semi Final.
