REDDITCH Lifesavers entered two teams into the Royal Life Saving Society Regional Rookie Gala for the West Midlands at Warwick School.
The gala consisted of five events: body board relay, brick relay, manikin tow relay, torpedo buoy relay and line throw relay.
And Redditch entered two teams in the under-14 category to compete against teams from South and North Worcester, Evesham and Warwick.
Both teams swam very well with the first team finishing in second place to win silver trophies.
