REDDITCH Queenfishers have been crowned champions of North East Midlands Ladies Touch League after winning the last tournament at Old Coventrians.
The Queenfishers won 6-0 against Berkswell & Balsall, then beat local rivals Stratford 4-0 before a 4-1 success over Old Laurentians to secure top spot in their group.
They then went on to play Camp Hill in the final which proved to be a competitive affair.
The game went to extra-time and drop-offs until Kate Saint scored the winning try to seal the game 3-2 and win the tournament overall.
Redditch finished the season with 45 points followed by Wellesbourne (43 points) in second and Camp Hill (40 points) in third
