THERE was plenty of success for Redditch United girls teams to savour at the Areley Kings football tournament on Sunday.
A fantastic number of young Reds girls descended on the Wyre Forest village and there was glory for the under 15s who won the under 16s five-a-side tournament as they triumphed on penalties in both the semi-final and final.
Elsewhere, there were more medals won as the Reds under 12s and under 14s teams finished runners-up.
Meanwhile, Redditch United junior teams are looking for new players, especially a goalkeeper for a new boys under 12s team for the coming season.
Ideally players will have have played for teams before and will be looking for a new challenge. Anyone interested should contact Emma Worrall on 07941 684357.
