REDDITCH’S Lloyd Glasspool begins the defence of his Wimbeldon doubles title alongside playing partner Julian Cash this afternoon.
Glasspool enjoyed a memorable run at Wimbledon last year to claim the men’s doubles crown with British partner Cash.
The pair will play together again at this year’s Championships with the duo seeded third.
Glasspool and Cash face unseeded South American pair Mariano Navone of Argentina and Adolfo Daniel Vallejo of Paraguay in the first round of this year’s competition.
The first round match takes place on Court 16 with play scheduled to begin at 3pm.
Glasspool ranked number one in the world in the doubles rankings last year and now finds himself sixth heading into Wimbeldon.
