REDDITCH Lifesaving Club’s rookies squad enjoyed great success as they secured two age group victories in Saturday’s competition at Droitwich Leisure Centre.
The Redditch youngsters secured first place in the under 12 and under 14 events in a competition which featured rope throwing, relays, bodyboards and towing.
Redditch’s second teams were fourth in the under 12s and sixth in the under 14s. There were eight teams in each age group.
Redditch Lifesaving Club meets at Abbey Stadium on Tuesday evenings.
