REDDITCH Royals’ season went from strength to strength as they celebrated a seventh consecutive win with victory over Worcester Wolves.
Unbeaten Royals are second in the Youth Basketball League East Division with two games in hand on leaders Coventry Tornadoes.
Sporting a new kit, courtesy of local estate agents Johnsons Property Consultants, the Royals will be looking to maintain their blistering start to the campaign when they host Bournville on Saturday (11am) at RSA Academy Arrow Vale.
Redditch Basketball Club secretary David Bradshaw MBE said: “Members of the Royals squad are the latest in a long line of young players who are expected to progress to National League level and beyond.
“Redditch Basketball Club currently has former juniors playing in the National League with Loughborough Uni, Leicester Uni, Exeter Uni, City of Birmingham Rockets and Worcester Wolves and long may it continue.”
Steve Such, of sponsors Johnsons Property Consultants, added: “Having been established for more than 20 years, Johnsons Property Consultants has grown through the recommendations of those living in the communities we serve.
“Community is at the core of what we do and, following a recent offer to support local sports clubs, we are delighted to now sponsor Redditch Royals.
“Our staff and customers will no doubt be following their progress with great interest and look forward to sharing in their future successes.”
