BARRY BLEWETT won Dark Lane AC’s Fur & Feather match on Saturday on the River Arrow at Alcester with 8lb.
Glyn Blewett was second with 5lb 4oz, Dave Gibbs was third with 4lb 2oz and section winners were Barry Feldhahn (3lb 10oz), Rob Evans (3lb 4oz) and John Wynes (3lb 4oz).
BARRY FELDHAHN won Sunday’s Needles AC match on the River Alne at Great Alne with 5lb. Runner-up was Pete Lewis with 4lb 2oz, Bob Allen was third with 2lb 5oz and section winners were Jack Dean (1lb 8oz) and Barry Blewett (15oz).
TONY BRADSHAW topped the scales with 8lb 5oz of dace and chub on the stick float to win Sunday’s Riverside AC pairs contest on the River Alne in Alcester.
Tony Persal was second with 8lb 4oz of perch and chub and John Millward was third with 7lb 2oz of chub.
Winners of the pairs were Persal and Trevor Terry, ahead of runners-up Tony and Alan Bradshaw.
