WALLOP Boxing Club fighter Kai Masters secured an impressive knockout win in the club’s final competitive bout of the year.
Masters secured a second round stoppage win to claim a first victory for Wallop in style at the Hi-Tech show in Erdington.
The Redditch fighter stayed behind his jab and put his opponent on the back foot from the first bell.
And Masters let his hands go in the second round to secure a stoppage victory.
Wallop fighter Liam Penton also took to the ring against a boxer from Worcester City ABC.
Penton punched straight down the line from the off only for his opponent to come out strong in the second round.
The Worcester fighter forced two standing eight counts before the referee waved off the contest.
Wallop director and lead coach, Carl Dickens said: “We thought Liam was up on the crads in the first round.
“His opponent came on strong but we felt it was a premature stoppage.
“Liam did himself proud and took the defeat as experience.
“He is our most improved boxer this season, his attitude is spot on.”
