WALLOP Boxing Club are preparing to host their sixth home show in the space of 18 months as the club continues to go from strength-to-strength.
The event takes place on Saturday, October 4 at Arrow Vale Sports Centre with Wallop to take on One Nation ABC.
A total of 10 bouts between Wallop and East Midlands-based One Nation will take place with the winning club to take home a trophy.
And Joe Masters will lead the Wallop team with a victory for either captain worth two points.
Wallop director and lead coach, Carl Dickens said: “We’ve set-up a unique event to give our boxers something to fight for.
“The home show will give the club and the boxers more exposure, we’re looking forward to it.”
Doors open at 6pm with the boxing to begin at 6.30pm. Limited tickets are available on the door.
For more information, contact the club via their social media channels.
Elsewhere, two of the club’s boxers continue to excel in the ring.
Midlands champion Bailey Clarke has already qualified to compete at the pre quarter-finals of the England Boxing National Development Championships.
And fellow Wallop fighter Liam Owen is hoping to join Clarke at the prestigious event and could become Midlands champion when he fights this weekend.
Wallop founder Dickens also had reason to celebrate recently after he was announced as a finalist for the community hero award at the Redditch Business Awards.
