WALLOP Boxing Club beat One Nation ABC in a club-versus-club home show at Arrow Vale Sports Centre.
The Redditch club won eight of 11 scoring bouts to take home the overall trophy in front of more than 250 spectators.
The fight of the night saw Wallop’s Joe Masters face off against One Nation’s Dylan Ravenscroft in the captain’s bout.
Ravenscroft eventually came out on top in a high-quality fight but Wallop claimed the overall trophy.
The show pitted West Midlands club Wallop against East Midlands club One Nation who are based in Derby.
Wallop’s director and lead coach, Carl Dickens said: “It was a really successful show, it’s the best I’ve ever seen, from the skills bouts all the way through to the seniors all of the fighters boxed their heart out and were a credit to the gym.
“All of our fighters listened, took every command on board and developed really well and made us realise that we’re proressing all the time and our coaching methods are getting better with some boxers having their first fights.
“We have more home shows planned for February and April next year with the rest of the season all about learning and progressing and getting the junior fighters ready for the Midlands Box Cup next year.
“I would say it was more successful than the Redditch United show overall which was quite surprising because that was a really good show.
“I want to thank our coaches, Ryan Owen and Brandon Burford, who put a lot of hard work into making the show the success it was.”
Wallop fighter Kai Masters knocked out his opponent in the second round while Liam Penton won his bout.
And Harry Coello impressed fighting a boxer with three times as many fights.
In total, 15 fights took place with four skills bouts and 11 scoring fights.
The club also rang out 10 bells prior to the action in memory of former Redditch ABC head coach Sammy Ferris who died last month.
