REDDITCH Entaco CC were skittled for just 98 runs in a 135-run defeat against Worcester to remain rooted to the bottom of the table.
Visitors Worcester posted 233-9 from their 50 overs at Bromsgrove Road despite an impressive six-over spell from Haleem Basharat with the ball at Bromsgrove Road.
However, only two Redditch batters managed double figures in reply with Entaco all out for 98 in 29.3 overs.
The result means Redditch sit bottom of the Worcestershire County League Premier Division table.
Entaco won the toss and elected to field as Waqas Ali (2-46) accounted for Worcester opener Lewis Franklin (15).
And Basharat (2-9) then removed Worcester captain Chris Jones (12) while Haris Ali (2-44) trapped Jabran Khalid (24) LBW.
Basharat returned to trap Mahaaz Ahmed (7) LBW to leave Worcester on 76-4 in the 19th over.
However, Shameer Ahmed (29) and Robert Baker (44) combined at the crease before Morlon Lokenath (1-33) broke up the 72-run partnership with the wicket of the former.
And Rizwan Chaudhry ran out Basil Thampi (15) before Ali removed Baker with the latter just six runs shy of a half-century.
Quick runs from Joshua Jones (37 not out) boosted Worcester’s total as the visitors closed on 233-9 at the end of their innings.
Redditch made a steady start with the bat as Yassar Altaf (13) and Ayaan Chaudhary (9) put on 24 runs for the first wicket.
However, both openers departed in quick succession as Thampi (1-6) accounted for Altaf while Charlie Weaver (3-34) bowled Chaudhary.
And Weaver then trapped Ghulam Moyhuddin (1) LBW as Entaco slumped to 27-3 in the 10th over of their reply.
None of Redditch’s middle order managed double figures as number 10 batter Noman Chaudhry (26) top scored with the bat for Entaco in an explosive knock.
A prolific spell from Luke Deeprose (4-12) saw Redditch falter to 47-6 and then 63-8 with Entaco all out for less than 100 as Franklin (1-6) took the final wicket.
