ALVECHURCH eased to a 3-0 victory against Highgate United to advance in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
Tim Flowers continued his perfect start to life as Church boss as goals from Sam Perry, Ammar Dyer and Jaelon West sealed a comfortable victory at The Coppice.
And victory means Church have reached the third round of the competition.
Alvechurch broke the deadlock on 33 minutes when Perry forced the ball home following a goalmouth scramble in the box.
And Church doubled their lead four minutes after the break as Dyer chipped the ball into the net from distance with the Highgate goalkeeper stranded on the edge of the penalty area.
The visitors sealed their place in the next round on 56 minutes as academy starlet West marked his full debut with a goal as he smashed the ball into the roof of the net after showing great composure in the box.
Alvechurch are next in action against local rivals Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday, November 30 with kick-off at 3pm at the Victoria Ground.
