ALVECHURCH saw their weekend fixture against Real Bedford postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
An initial inspection of the Lye Meadow pitch at 9am on Saturday morning confirmed the game would go ahead as planned.
However, a second pitch inspection conducted by the match referee at around 2pm confirmed the turf as waterlogged.
A rearranged date for the Southern League Premier Central game will be confirmed in due course.
Weather permitting, Alvechurch are next in action against Evesham United in the Worcestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday, December 9.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
