ALVECHURCH suffered back-to-back defeats in the league for the first time this season after losing 2-0 away at St Ives Town.
Goals from Theo Alexandrou and Jernade Meade saw Church slip to successive defeats at Westwood Road.
The result means Alvechurch sit fifth in the Southern League Premier Central table.
St Ives broke the deadlock on 18 minutes when Alexandrou lobbed Redman Evans from distance to leave the visitors stunned,
And the home side doubled their lead one minute after half time as Meade tapped in Liam Cross’s ball across the face of goal.
Alvechurch travel to Redditch United on Monday, October 20 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Valley Stadium.
