DECLAN Green scored a hat-trick as Sporting Club Inkberrow thrashed Moreton Rangers 6-1 to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches.
Green opened the scoring before restoring Berrow’s lead and later completing his hat-trick with Bill Coughlin, Luke Allcock and substitute Oliver Smith all on target at the Inkberrow Recreation Ground.
The result means Inkberrow sit fifth in the Hellenic League Division One table.
Inkberrow took the lead when Green fired home after fine work from Coughlin before Jack Fountain levelled the game for Moreton following a mistake in the Berrow defence.
However, Green restored Inkberrow’s lead just before half time and then set up Coughlin for a tap in shortly after the break.
And Green completed his treble with a powerful effort from 20-yards out from a neatly worked free-kick.
Berrow added to their lead when Max-Emilios Angelides teed up Alcock before Smith rounded off the scoring from Alex Quaynor’s pass.
Inkberrow are next in action at home to Chipping Sodbury Town on Saturday, September 30 with kick-off at 3pm at The Inkberrow Recreation Ground.
