ZAC Guinan scored an injury-time equaliser as Alvechurch rescued a late point in a 1-1 draw against Needham Market.
Guinan struck two minutes into injury time to level the game after Joe Neal’s goal put the visitors ahead at Lye Meadow.
The result means Alvechurch sit 16th in the Southern League Premier Central table, two points clear of the relegation zone.
After a goalless first period, Needham broke the deadlock on 72 minutes when Neal tapped home after Redman Evans could only parry Luke Ingram’s powerful strike.
However, the home side rescued a point in injury time as Guinan rose highest to nod a header into the net from close range following a corner.
Alvechurch are next in action Stourbridge on Tuesday, March 3 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Lye Meadow.
